Bettering Yourself Week 27 – Jul 1 – 7, 2013 – Watching My Thoughts

Watching my thoughts“Change your thoughts, change your life”  

 

This quote by Dr. Wayne Dyer, has inspired this weeks’ bettering yourself challenge.  I am going to watch the many thoughts I think each day and see how those thoughts are creating my life.

It doesn’t mean that a thought is true because it pops into my head. By rising above the level of thought by being silent, I will watch how my thoughts are only thoughts, and not necessarily reality.

My thoughts are only a judgement of a situation and they may be completely inaccurate, as I may not have all  the information necessary to make that judgement, so I am going to reserve  judgement of others and myself this week and be more compassionate to our challenges.
