I thought about who I am for this week’s bettering yourself exercise, and I realized that I instinctively know who I am, but it’s difficult to explain once I remove roles like mother, wife, and sister.
I also learned that when I go against who I am, I feel tension, or fear or anxiety. But when I act authentically I connect with my soul.
Throughout my life, who I am has not changed. For example, I have always been a lover of freedom, and feel uncomfortable when my freedom or another person’s freedom is being restricted.
To be completely authentic this week, I made a list of the qualities that make up me, and it helped me to act authentically even in the tiniest decisions and interactions I have each day.
